What do you understand by recycling of waste?

• Recycling is a process by which wastes are converted into reusable products, thereby reducing the usage of raw material and energy and controlling air water and soil pollutions.
  
• Glass is 100% recyclable and does not lose its purity or quality. It can be recycled endlessly.
  
• Cardboard is recycled but like other products, it cannot be recycled once it is tarnished with grease or food.
  
• Aluminium can also be recycled. Process just involves remelting and recasting.
