Solution
The process of regurgitating or bringing the swallowed food to the mouth after a meal and then swallowing and digesting it is known as rumination.
Animals such as cows, goats, deer and giraffes are called ruminant animals.
Ruminant animals have the four-chambered stomach- the reticulum, rumen, omasum and abomasum.
The first large compartment in the stomach in which the food is regurgitated for rumination and cellulose is broken down by the action of symbiotic microorganisms is known as rumen.
Python is a genus of nonvenomous snakes which feed on wild animals such as lizards, small alligator-like animals, monkeys and antelopes.
They catch their prey with their teeth and wrap their coil around it and squeeze them.
