What do you understand by term 'naked embryo'? Name any two division in kingdom-plantae that have naked embryo. Give on example of each division.

The naked embryo is called so because they are not produced inside any integument of an ovule. These are also called spores. The reproductive organs bearing spores are called sori and they are very inconspicuous. Bryophytes and Pteridophytes have the naked embryo. For example, Pteridophyte Marsilea and Bryophyte Funaria.
