3. In simple words we can also say that the area outside the earth is the space. In space, there are various celestial objects like planets, meteors, stars, etc.
4. Space is a quiet place. No one can hear you in space, no matter how hard you scream.
5. This is because in outer space there is not any medium for the sound wave to travel.
