The word ‘government’ refers to a governing body that makes decisions and gets things done for the welfare of its citizens.
The five ways in which the government affects our daily lives are:
(i) Building infrastructure.
(ii) Reducing the price of commodities when they get too expensive.
(iii) Implementing several programmers to help the poor.
(iv) Running postal and railways services.
(v) Organising aid and assistance camp for the affected people in times of natural disasters.
