The word democracy describes a political system. In a democratic country, all eligible citizens have the right to participate, either directly or indirectly, in making the decisions that affect them. In a country, the government plays an important role by implementing the rules in favour of a citizen of the country and also ensures that all the citizens have an equal level of freedom in terms of education, medical facility, freedom to express etc.
Government is the one which acts as a caretaker for all the citizen of the country. And this government is elected by the people residing in the country.
