Solution
Mendelian Laws:
Gregor Mendel discovered the principles or laws of "Heredity."
He carried out his experiments on garden peas using hybridization.
He postulated two laws of genetics.
These are laws of segregation and the laws of independent assortment.
The law of segregation:
when a person produces gametes,
The copies of a gene separate during gametogenesis.
The gamete will receive one of the alleles from the parent.
When the egg and sperm combine during fertilization.
This is resulting in offspring will be diploid.
The allele pairs in egg and sperm separate during gamete formation.
They again unite during fertilization.
It also happens in meiosis.
