The Indian Flag has three colours, which are placed horizontally. At the top there is saffron, which signifies sacrifice and courage.
In the middle is white, which stands for peace and truth.
At the bottom is green, which stands for greenery, growth life and prosperity.
In the middle of the white is a Ashoka Chakra a blue wheel, with 24 spokes and stands for progress.
