What does ovary wall changes after fertilization

The fertilization stimulates the ovary to grow gradually increasing in size following different changes and ultimately it turns into a fruit. In some cases calyx and thalamus help in the formation of fruits such as apple etc.

Before fertilization -->

After fertilization (changes to)


1)Fruit
2)Fruit wall
3)seed

So the ovary wall gradually turns into the fruit wall .The juicy ovule loses water and eventually becomes a hard seed.
