Endoderm is one of the 3 germ layers (Endoderm, ectoderm, and mesoderm).
Endoderm leads to the development of an organism.
Cells in the endoderm layer become the linings of the digestive and respiratory system, and form organs like the liver and pancreas.
Endoderm helps in the construction of the linings of two tubes within the body, the first tube is the digestion tube or alimentary canal and the second one is the bud of the digestion tube which form the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
Endoderm develops into alveoli of lungs, urinary bladder, most parts of the alimentary canal, the lining of liver, pancreas, thyroid cell lining, etc.
