What does the law make compulsory with respect to weights and measure?
The law makes compulsory the following with respect to weights and measures:
(a) A weight is considered as authorized only if it is made up of metal.
(b) Each and every weight must contain a hole filled with lead in the center.
(c) The balancing point of the beam should be stable at one place.
(d) The beam of the balance should be freely movable about the vertical axis.
(e) There should be standardized mark or stamp of the government on the beam of the balance.
