what does the recent report by the centre for science and environment tell about the situation of air pollution

The 4th edition of SoE report 2019 by the CSE has released alarming data on overall deaths in country owing to Air pollution. All points highlighted in report are as under:
1. Every year, 1 lakh children under age of 5 years die due to air pollution aggravated conditions.
2. Air pollution is responsible for 12.5% of all deaths in the country.
3. In 2017, an estimated 1.2 Mn people died due to this..
4. India remains behind in the pledged goal of running e-vehicles with mere 0.28 Mn in 2019 wrt the goal of 15-16 Mn by 2020.
5. Risk is higher for girls as air pollution kills 9.6 of every 10000 girls before attaining the age of 5.
