  1. ADH is known as the antidiuretic hormone or vasopressin.

Effect of ADH on urine output:

  1. ADH decreases the water production of kidneys.
  2. As a result, the quantity of urine is decreased.
  3. The high amount of ADH in the body results in a decrease in urine levels and the low amount of ADH in the body results in an increase in urine levels.
