Trypsin:

  1. It is an enzyme that is secreted by the pancreas as the proenzyme trypsinogen.
  2. It is activated by enterokinase present in the small intestine.
  3. It activates other pancreatic enzymes chymotrypsinogen, proelastase, procarboxypeptidase, and prolipase.
