The wheat is a rabi crop and is sown sometime in October or November after the rains. Wheat seeds are sown in fields about 25 cm apart with the hollow shaft. Moisture in the soil helps for the growth of the plants. The crop is provided with necessary fertilizers. In north between February and April crop becomes ready for harvesting.
