  4. They get nutrients and energy by absorbing nutrients from the surface they live on.
  5. Most fungi reproduce by spores.
  6. For example yeast, mushrooms, bread molds, and lichens.

  1. Morphology of mycelium
  2. Mode of spore formation
  3. Fruiting bodies

The classifications are as follows:

  1. Phycomycetes
  2. Ascomycetes
  3. Basidiomycetes
  4. Deuteromycetes.
