The middle ear is the part of the ear between the eardrum and the oval window. The middle ear transmits sound from the outer ear to the inner ear. The middle ear consists of three bones: the hammer (malleus), the anvil (incus) and the stirrup (stapes), the oval window, the round window and the Eustrachian tube.
Once the sound reached this section, sound is transferred to the inner ear through more vibration of the ear drum alongside the hammer, anvil and stirrup which are the smallest bones in the body.
it consists of auditory canal and ear drum or tympanum. The auditory canal concentrates sons waves and secretes mucus or wax like substance with the help of subcutaneous gland and keep ear moist whereas eardrum transmit sound wave from surrounding to external ear through transmission of vibration from eardrum to ear ossicles .
