What happens during an allergic reaction?

When you come in contact with a trigger that you inhale, swallow, or get on your skin, an allergic reaction occurs.

Your Immune system starts to produce antibodies called IgE, that reacts on the allergen. So that, histamine and other chemicals get released into the blood. This causes the symptoms which you see on your body. Common symptoms include rashes and itching.
