Question

What happens if we add more terms in a polynomial. For eg 3x+ 2x+0 and 5x +4x+ 3x+2x+0. How their graph look like?

Solution

In the example you shown it is a first degree polynomial
1st example can be written as 3x+2x+0=5x
that is y=5x
slope =5
by comparing with std equation y=mx
second as y=14x
slope=14
so in first example,if x=1 then y=5
in second x=1 then y=14
Both the graphs will be a straight line
And if we add more terms the slope of line increases
