Initial efficiency,ηi=11(γ)γ1=11(10)0.4=0.60189

ηi=60.19%

When γ% decreases by 1.5% value of new γ is:


γn=1.4×(1001.5)100=1.379%

New efficienct is

ηf=11(γ)γn1=11(10)0.379=0.5822

ηf=58.22%

So, change in efficiency is =58.2260.1960.19=0.0327=3.27%
