The smallest natural number is added to it ?

Solution

We know that the smallest natural number is1.

Let a be any natural number, if we add 1 to we get-

=a+1

(a+1) will be the successor of that number.

For example - if we take any natural number say 4

By adding 1 to this number we get- 4+1=5

Hence, when the smallest natural number is added to a natural number we will get the successor of that number which will also be a natural number.
