Solution

Heart attack:

  1. A heart attack occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked.
  2. The blockage is mostly due to buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances which form a plaque in the arteries that feed the heart which stops the blood from moving normally.
  3. The plaque eventually breaks away and forms a clot.
  4. The interrupted blood flow can damage heart muscle.
  5. Heart attack is also called a myocardial infarction which can be fatal.
