Question

what happens to pupil when iris contract?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

The iris is the muscular structure that expands and contracts to change the size of the pupil, which is the opening through which light enters the eye. When iris contracts then the pupil dilates. It's not the pupil getting bigger but the iris getting smaller first.
