Open in App
Solution

Range of the ammeter will increase

Here is the explanation

We know shunt resistance will be connected in parallel with ammeter so when we decrease shunt resistance the more current will pass through shunt resistance and less current will pass through ammeter.Hence range of the ammeter will increase.
