What happens to the air breathed in, once it reaches the lungs?
After inhaling the air travels down your windpipe and into your lungs.
In lungs it pass through the bronchial tubes and finally reaches and enters the alveoli (air sacs).
Through the very thin walls of the alveoli, oxygen from the air passes to the surrounding capillaries (blood vessels).
TheThe oxygenated blood is then supplied to the body through several blood vessels following its mechanism.
