(ii) 5
(iii) 6

Open in App
Solution

1. multiplied by 4
let the number be "a".
so the cube is "a^3".
multiplied by 4 with a = 4a
new cube = (4a)^3=(4^3)*(a^3)=64a^3
so the cube of the number will be multiplied by 64.

2.multiplied by 5
let the number be "a".
so the cube is a^3.
multiplied by 5 with a = 5a.
new cube is (5a)^3=(5^3)*(a^3)=125a^3.
so the cube of the number will be multiplied by 125.

3.multiplied by 6
let the number be "a".
so the cube is a^3.
multiplied by 6 with a=6a.
new cube is =(6a)^3=(6^3)*(a^3)=216a^3.
so the cube of the number will be multiplied by 216.
