What happens to the energy of an object when work is done by the object and on the object? Explain why.

Dear student
In physics ,we can also define the work as the transfer of energy .The work is done on an object when you transfer energy to that object .As per the question the first object is doing work on the second object ,so it means first object is tranferring energy to the second object.
As we know the work energy principle the change in kinetic energy is equal to the work done.
The first object has the kinetic energy which it will be transferring to the second object by doing work on it,
