What happens to the lungs of a person who is continuously taking nasal sprays?

Dear student,
Nasal sprays are usually absorbed by the blood vessels in the nose but overdose of nasal sprays can affect lungs badly by causing emphysema, chronic bronchitis and chest tightness. Antihistamine and steroidal nasal sprays are harmful in excess dose but saline nasal spray is not harmful.
