What happens to the nuclear envelope in telophase I?

Open in App
Solution

Telophase I:

  1. It forms the last phase of the cell division that occurs during meiosis-I.
  2. During the telophase-I of the cell cycle the nuclear envelope and nucleolus reappear again.
  3. Cytokinesis occurs (splitting of the cytoplasm leading to the formation of two daughter cells).
  4. Karyokinesis or splitting of the nucleoplasm and development of the nuclear envelope around each set of chromosomes occurs.
