Solution

When the numerator is kept unchanged and the denominator of the fraction is decreased the value of the fraction would increase.
e.g. Fraction $= \frac{2}{3}$
New fraction $= \frac{2}{2}$
Obviously fraction $\frac{2}{2} > \frac{2}{3} [∵ 1 > 0.66]$
