Solution

The correct option is A Blue colour of solution fades up.

The following reaction takes when a strip of zinc is dipped in a copper sulphate solution:
Zinc + copper sulphate copper + zinc sulphate

Due to which blue colour of copper sulphate solution disappears slowly . The disappearance of the blue colour during the reaction indicates that the copper ions have been dispalced by zinc from it's sulphate solution. These ions form metallic copper coating on the remaining zinc powder.
