What happens when air with a very high content of water vapour goes from region of high pressure to a region of low pressure or vice versa?

When in the day time the air get heated by Sunlight, it rises up carrying water vapour with it,then air expands and cool down .The phenomenon of Condensation takes place and big water droplets are formed which become heavy and fall on the Earth in the form of Rain.
