What happens when
a)Zn reacts with Copper sulphate solution
b) Copper reacts with Iron sulphate solution.
Write the balanced chemical equations involved in each case

a) Zinc is more reactive than copper. That's why it will displace copper from the solution and react with sulphate ions to form zinc sulphate and copper metal.

Zn + CuSO4 → ZnSO4 + Cu

b) Copper does not react with ferrous sulfate solution, because copper is below iron on the series and can't displace iron ions from solution.
