What happens when ferrous sulphate is heated ? Write the name and balanced chemical equation for the process .

Dear student,
When ferrous sulphate heated , the crystal lose water and converted to anhydrous ferrous sulphate and turn light green. On further heating, it decomposes to ferric oxide, sulphur dioxide and sulphur trioxide. The balanced chemical equation is given below;
2FeSO4 Fe2O3 + SO2 +SO3
This is a decomposition reaction.
