Sulphur is precipitated .
2H2S+SO2+3S+2H2O
hydrogen sulfide reacts with the solute H2SO4 in sulfuric acid. Both sulfur and sulfur dioxide are produced when the molar ratio of H2SO4/H2S is between 1.00 and 2.98, while all sulfur oxidizes to sulfur dioxide if H2SO4/H2S exceed 2.98.
