Question

What happens when one atom of sodium combines with two atoms of barium?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

Barium and sodium both are metals and are solid in normal state. Hence it does not react chemically but form the mixture of both the metals.
While if both the metals are placed very close to each other under suitable temperature, solid state reaction can occur between sodium and barium with the start of nucleation process.
