When propane react with chlorine in presence of diffused sunlight then two products are formed.
  • 1-Chloropropane
  • 2-Chloropropane
​​The reaction takes place is given below :

CH3CH2CH3 + Cl -----> CH3CH2CH2Cl (1-Chloropropane) + CH3CH(Cl)CH3 (2-Chloropropane)
