When water is heated to 100°C, boiling of water takes place.

Boiling or Vaporization: The process due to which a liquid changes into a gaseous state by absorbing heat energy is called boiling.

We can get water back from vapours by the process of condensation.

Condensation or Liquefaction: The process due to which a gas changes into a liquid state by giving out heat energy is called condensation.
