What in your view are the reasons for the population explosion, especially in India?

There are many reasons which contribute to the problem of population explosion in India. The main problem is poverty. There are many poor people who are illiterate and unaware of the problems due to increase in population. There is involvement of activities like child marriage which enhances the problem. There are no preventive measures taken to prevent pregnancy which results in the formation of many offspring to parents. There is no proper education about sex and preventive measures received by the people. The birth rate is very high compared to the death rate.
