Solution
Bundle of His:
Bundle of His was discovered by Wilhelm His Jr.
Bundle of His is an important part of the electrical conduction system of the heart.
It is involved in transmitting the impulses from AV node to ventricles.
Bundle of His is a connecting structure between the distal portion of the compact-natured AV node that penetrates the central fibrous body.
Bundle of His is developed through the annulus fibrosis or the non-branching part because it moves through the membraneous septum.
The central fibrous body and the connective tissue of the membraneous septum envelop a part of AV bundle.
This gives rise to extensions in the central fibrous body.
Bundle of His conducts electrical impulses that regulate the heartbeat from the right atrium to the left ventricles and the right ventricles.
Bundle of His assists in communicating a single rhythm of contraction to all sections of the heart.
The time required for the impulses to travel from the AV node to ventricles is 0.03 to 0.04 second.
