Solution
Dikaryotic cell:-
A cell which contains two nuclei is called a dikaryotic cell (di- 2; karyon- nucleus).
Such a stage is found in some groups of fungi such as ascomycetes and basidiomycetes.
A dikaryotic cell is formed when two cells fuse together leaving the nuclei non-fused such that, these nuclei share a common single cytoplasm.
Dikaryotic cells are usually formed during sexual reproduction in some fungi.
