Factors: A factor is a number that divides the given number with leaving the remainder zero.

  • The factor of every number includes 1as a factor.
  • Every number except 1 has atleast two factors.
  • Every prime number has two factors, 1 and a prime number itself. For example factors of 5 are 1and 5.
  • Square number has an odd number of factors. For example factors of 4 are 1,2,4

Thus, the factor of every number includes 1as a factor.
