In the quadrilateral, ABCD, here (AB, BC), (BC, CD), (CD, DA) and (DA, AB) are the adjacent side whereas (AB, CD) and (AD, BC) are the opposite sides.
The four angles are ∠ABC, ∠BCD, ∠CDA, ∠DAB.
