Decinormal

• A decinormal solution is one in which one tenth-gram equivalent mass of a substance is present in one liter of its solution.
• It is denoted as $\mathrm{N}/10$ solution.
• For example:
• For making, $0.1\mathrm{N}$, $\mathrm{NaOH}$:$1/10$ gram equivalents of $\mathrm{HCl}$$(3.645\mathrm{g})$dissolved in one liter of the solution results in decinormal $0.1\mathrm{N}$ solution.
