What is a submarine? How is it like a fish in its action?

Solution
A submarine works on a principle similar to that of the fish.
It is a kind of ship with variable and controllable mass and can be made to float or submerge in water as desired.
It is a watertight, closed steel vessel so designed that normally it displaces water more than its weight and hence floats over the sea.
In its hull there are large tanks known as buoyancy tanks.
When a submarine is to be submerged these tanks are filled by allowing the seawater to enter them.
The weight of the submarine decreases while the upthrust remains the same and it .therefore, rises to the surface.
