Solution

Term to term rule:

A term by term rule is used for a sequence in which the next term is obtained from the previous term.

Example: Arithmetic sequence

In an arithmetic sequence, each term (other than the first term) is obtained by adding or subtracting a constant value from the preceding term. The constant value is called a common difference d.

1,3,5,7,9, is an arithmetic sequence where common difference is d=2.
