Solution
The space surrounding an electric charge or a group of charges in which another charge experiences a force is called an electric field.
A uniform electric field is a field in which the value of the field strength remains the same at all points.
If an electric field has the same magnitude and same direction everywhere in a given space then the electric field is said to be uniform.
