A vacuole is a membrane-bound organelle which is present in all plants, animals and bacterial cells.They can be found in both animal and plant cells but are much larger in plant cells.
1. Vacuoles stores food and waste materials.
2. It maintains the proper pressure within the plant cells to provide structure and support for the growing plant.
