Question

What is a wind instrument?

Open in App
Solution

  1. Wind instruments make use of the length of the air column to produce sound.
  2. These are also called reed-type instruments. Wind instruments are generally made of wood, although some are made of metal or plastic.
  3. By increasing or decreasing the length of the air column, which is done by opening or closing the holes cut into them, vibrations of different frequencies are set up, which produces sweet music.
