  3. In racemose inflorescence, the flowers are arranged in such a way that the main axis continues to grow and does not terminate in a flower.

Centripetal succession:

  1. It is a type of arrangement of flowers where older flowers are present in the periphery and the younger ones are located in the center.
  2. It is also a type of modified racemose inflorescence.
